General Information

At Boude Storey Middle School, our mission is to provide a rigorous instructional curriculum that challenges students to excel academically, socially, and emotionally in an atmosphere that emphasizes mutual respect, character building, and responsible citizenship. Students are empowered to develop their potential through proven and effective research-based instructional strategies. Co-curricular and extracurricular activities and programs support the school wide commitment to quality and excellence.

Over the past five years, student academic performance levels have increased steadily. Student commended rates in reading, writing, math, social studies, and science have made impressive gains. To increase our students' awareness of college and career opportunities and promote their understanding of how future career choices relate to their educational goals, during the 2020-2021 school year, the school offered a career exploration focus in each content area every six-week period. Additionally, students had the opportunity to participate in career and college fairs where community members share their expertise and talk with students about career educational requirements.

Parent and community partnerships are valued and respected at Boude Storey. Participation is encouraged at workshops on topics related to health, higher education, and home/school connections. Parent and community involvement opportunities include volunteering and participating on the PTA and Site-Based Decision Making and Campus Improvement Planning committees.
